We went to see the Tut exhibit at the De Young museum today. Nicely done. Nice to see all this, and quite impressive, especially for a 6 yr old.

What a fun summer!

Super 1st Annual Stay-cation!

Non-Voyage! On one of the nicest weekends of the year we held our Super 1st Annual Stay-Cation. And we had a blast. Something special about treating yourself to all the little things you never make time for.
Makings for fun included:
1. Friday Night Date, Dinner at Pomodoro. Zac slept the whole time, Skyler spent the night at Nana's.
2. Fishing at Lake Chabot. We rent a fun little covered boat to eat our lunch and fish from. No we didnt catch anything but 100% fun was had by all.
3. Sonoma Traintown. Zac's first time. For train fans this place is a must. Excellent value
4.And possibly most special the extra dat, it was a Monday that dad took off from work. We visit Silliman Water Park in lovely Newark. Kids sized indoor water-park. Skyler was in heaven. Then we cruise over to Saratoga for some booster seats. Easy dinner solution night when we got home - Sushi boat.

This was a great way to put a close to our summer. Dont you think?
