Goin down south

Well, only as far as LA and Disneyland. Zac gets to meet cousin Sequoia, Aunt Danielle + Uncle Bob, plus all of the relatives, and see Ahmee & Baba's house. Steph's bday party bbq was a smash, we went to La Brea tar pits, Griffith Park observatory, swimming, the park and had all the fun!

Zachary sits up!

Zachary made us all clap and cheer this morning when he sat up all by himself for the first time! This opens up a whole new world of possibilities (and just in time because he was starting to get bored with 'tummy time', and laying flat on his back became a bore ages ago - unless he has his toes in his mouth, which he really enjoys) now he can scoot to a new location on the rug and sit up to pick up a toy for chewing!

He just had his 6 month check up and his pediatrician was so smitten with him she kept saying how cute he was and that he was flirting. She said that he was advanced in that he could get up on all fours in a crawling pose and then up on his toes and hands, passing toys from hand to hand with such skill, holding himself up, etc. She said "Whatever you're doing, keep doing it, both your boys are great! What a little coquette!" and blew Zac a kiss. He weighs 18.5 lbs., is 27" tall and his head is 45 CM - he is in the 75th percentile for his age in size, weight.

Zac is eating rice cereal and sweet potatoes and smiling more than ever!

Kevin found a great apartment for his little family! We are so excited to have them all here, we can't wait!

Zac 6 months - Sky 5 ½ years old

Zachary is up on all fours - we now call him Scooter. He scoots backwards, sideways and has just about mastered forwards (crawling) but he's still perfecting that one.Of course big smiles and amazing baby blues as always. He's grabbing toys and pulling them towards himself, shaking rattles and still chewing on everything he can (including his toes - still the cutest thing ever).

Skyler is reading and will shout out things from the other room like "I know how to spell your" and "I know how to spell children" and he gets it right nearly every time.

Kevin is here and he's been job and apartment hunting. He went to an amazing physical therapist and is arm and hand are looking great. Chris will be here soon and we can't wait!
