Zachary, Bo-backary, Banana, Fana, Fo-Fackary...
Ten months old!! Little Zac is a so cute, sweet and a very happy, smiling baby. He's walking around with some help from tables, chairs and peoples fingers. He babbles like crazy, like conversational little songs, with raspberries and tongue rolls thrown in. He loves twinkle twinkle little star and makes stars with his little hands and fingers in the air. If you say "Hi" to him he waves his arm and says "Ay".
He's learning what "No" means and responds by pausing for a moment and them returning to whatever naughtiness he was getting into. His favorite game is rolling the ball back and forth up and down the hall. If you say "Ball?" he looks around on the floor for the ball and sometimes he says "Ba?" (But we're not sure if that's considered ball or his first word) and he loves clapping his hands, and if you say "Yeah!" he puts his arms up in the air and cheers and then claps. He loves dancing - standing up and bouncing up and down to music. He knows "in" and "out" and in the bath he puts the little toys in and out of the plastic bowl when you ask him to (and splashes like crazy). He pulls his shoes off and then tries to put them back on his feet.
My favorite is when anyone in the room is laughing about something Zachary cracks up like he gets the joke.
Zachary's favorite source of entertainment is Skyler who plays and puts on shows for him daily.
He had his well baby check-up yesterday and he's "super cute!" according to Dr. Newell. She also said that he's going to be smart like his big brother (Skyler beamed). Zac is 29.5 inches tall (75 percentile), 21.4 lbs. (49 percentile) and his head is 47 cm (85 percentile). Dr. Newell said "those are the stats but if anyone asks just say he's perfect".
He's playing the Xylophone right now, running the stick up and down the keys - very pretty music!
