Christmas 2007

What a wonderful first Christmas for our little Zachary! We are so blessed to have him, he's such a little bundle of joy. He has miles of smiles for everyone. He loves his hands and is starting to hold small soft toys. His favorite thing is the edge of his blanket grasped in his hands and a little piece in his mouth for chewing. He had a great Christmas morning and hung on to his new silver rattle and his new little soft frog. We had Christmas dinner at Nana's house and Alisha & Miss Lynda joined us. Zac was passed around to loving arms and big smiles last night and he returned the love.

Santa was extra generous - Skyler is overwhelmed by the loot he's amassed. We stacked it all up in a tall tower so he could see just how much NEW stuff he got and just how much OLD stuff he needs to get rid of (which means putting it down in the garage for the next set of kiddies to use). You wouldn't think that would be so hard, moving stuff from here to there, but when you are a self centered (typical 5 year old) who wants it all (cake and eat it too) it's hard to decide what should go (again I mention that it's only going to the garage, he can visit these "sad lonesome toys" anytime he wants) so he kind of wants to keep it all. Unfortunately we just don't have that kind of room in his room. Right now his bedroom looks like a cross between the best educational toy store, a clothing boutique and the Star Wars aisle at Toys R' Us. We have our work cut out for us today!
