Sky & mommy play & go to park

Hi,

This is our new blog! Years from now I'm sure Skyler will say we were way behind the times writing in a journal for the first two years, but here we go -



Today my mom (Nana) came over and we went for a lovely stroll in our 'Bigger Backyard' Golden Gate Park, which is just across the street from our house. It's been sunny and warm, perfect weather for having fun. We went to the duck pond and feed the fat birds bread - mostly seagulls hogging the grub - and then we went to the Australian section of the Botanical Gardens and fed the squirrels some nuts. They live in a big tree and come right up and eat out of your hand. We went by the fountain and kicked the ball around and had a snack and then went to the playground. Skyler has become quite a daredevil and can walk the the netting between the jungle gyms all by himself. Then it was back home for a nap. This afternoon we hung out in our own backyard and played in the sandbox, blew bubbles, more kick ball and some batting practice (watch out Barry Bonds), watered the plants, and ate apples. Skyler is talking up a storm and we practiced opposites - he loves discussing the difference between 'mean' and 'nice' - left and right and ABC's.
